Model FD access panels features a hinge door panel and provide a convenient and economical means to obtain access to components installed behind vertical walls or partitions, with fire resistance ratings up to 2 hours. In horizontal combustible ceiling membranes of floor-ceiling or roof-ceiling assemblies, they feature fire resistance ratings up to, and including, 1 hour. In horizontal noncombustible ceiling membranes of floor-ceiling or roof-ceiling assemblies, the panels have fiore resistance ratings up to and including 3 hours.

Standard Construction

Frame: 16 ga. (1.6) steel with white baked enamel prime coat finish -1" (25) flange.

Door Panel: 20 ga. (1.0) steel with white baked enamel prime coat finish.

Hinge: Concealed hinge.

Latches: Universal latch mechanism - convertible between turning and key lock type.

ULC-S104 Fire Resistance Rating: 2 Hour (vertical)

ASTM E119 Fire Resistance Rating: 1 Hour (horizontal, for use in 1 hour rated combustible assemblies)
