Pottorff Representative Training: Product Fundamentals

At Pottorff, education is at the heart of our partnership with representatives. Our Louver & Damper Fundamentals training program at our Fort Worth Technical Center, brings together a select group of industry professionals for two immersive days of hands-on learning, product expertise, and connection.

Participants dive into an intensive schedule designed to strengthen both technical understanding and real-world application.

Over two days, representatives gain a 360° view of the products that define our industry leadership, combination fire/smoke dampers, ceiling radiation dampers, commercial and industrial dampers, and louvers, through a blend of classroom sessions, live wall demonstrations, and guided plant and laboratory tours. Each segment is led by Pottorff experts, including regional managers, product engineers, and customer service leaders, ensuring that attendees hear directly from those who design, test, and support our products daily.

The training also features an in-depth look at Pottorff’s SPECS configuration platform, offering practical guidance on efficient project specification, and introduces participants to the Customer Service and Operations teams that power our commitment to being the easiest company to do business with.

By the end of the program, every representative walks away with:

  • A deeper understanding of UL standards and performance testing.
  • Firsthand insight into Pottorff’s manufacturing and quality control processes.
  • Practical knowledge for assisting engineers, contractors, and architects in the field.
  • Stronger connections with Pottorff’s leadership and technical experts.

From introductions to factory floor demos, the Rep Training experience embodies Pottorff’s core promise: delivering excellence through knowledge, innovation, and partnership.

Planned training dates for 2026:

  • April 13 –15
  • June 15 – 17
  • August 17 – 19
  • October 12 – 14

Registration will open a month before each session.
